When Bre first contacted me about shooting her wedding this fall, it took me a second to realize that I was speaking to my old friend, Ben's, fiancée! Ben and I go way back to my middle school years when he used to purposely swim on the wrong side of the lane in swim practice so that I would run into him. Always the troublemaker. Now he's all grown up and getting married! I was really excited to go back to Northern Virginia to see Ben and meet his fabulous fiancée, Bre! He definitely chose well, and to say that I'm excited about shooting their wedding in the fall would be an understatement. There's an exception to the old rule "never work for friends," and that's when you're a photographer. Friends make some of the best clients because it is easier for everyone to communicate what they want. And not to mention, they are much more comfortable in front of the camera when a friend is the one taking the photo! We had a great time walking around Ben and Bre's town of Manassas, VA.
